Years ago, I introduced people here and there – sometimes it worked out beautifully, and sometimes not so much. Today’s blog is about the world’s best matchmaker - for you.
The world’s best matchmaker knows who you are inside and out – they also know exactly the kind of person who would fit well with your values, lifestyle choices your vision for the future. They would know what really floats your boat, what lights you up – what you want to chat about, and who you want to come home to in the evenings!
They’d know what kind of person you want to grow old with, and they would get a sense of your personal vibration and would know, somehow instinctively, if somebody else had a vibration that would fit well with yours. They wouldn’t ‘strike someone off the list immediately’, instead, they would know exactly what your green, orange and red flags are and make decisions from that place. They might have a sense that a connection could grow over time even if it was clunky at first.
A matchmaker is a person, organization, or system that brings two individuals or parties together for a specific purpose - most commonly romantic relationships.
The truth is, that you are the ultimate intelligence and wisdom in your life – deep down, you know what you want and what you need. For you, no one is the best matchmaker in the world apart from you!
This is because no one knows you like you do. There is not one other person in the whole world who really understands all of the wonderfulness, trickiness, and myriad of facets of you.
You, as the world’s best matchmaker, are the person bringing two individuals together – you and some other beautiful being. Admittedly, within our so-called ‘lower’ selves, limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns of behaviour can get in our way. They can stop you from being able to take the action and be in the right frequency to attract someone you really resonate with.
I also struggle with my ‘lower-self’. Recently I’ve been ‘doing the do’ much of the time with parenting, being a business owner, and all the things of being alive. Sometimes I forget about my higher-self. She likes to be in circles of women, play music with myself or people I love – gardening, anything which is just ‘being’ in the world! I love being a mama and building this precious work in the world I do with people. However, all the ‘doing’ gets tiring and sometimes I just want to be. That’s why my higher self is there. She leads me, through intuition, knowing, desire, and fun. When it comes to love, what is your Higher-self leading you towards?
I don’t ‘match make’ people because I know that your infinite intelligence resides within you. When you get your vision clear, and you clear the blocks in your way, it integrates your higher and lower selves, making it easier for the Universe to provide.

Something I found interesting and telling is that I had a couple of attendees rock up at one of the events who scanned the room and then left. People sometimes have this thought that they will know if they’re attracted to someone within one second of looking at them. However, you may be closing yourself off to love if you do that. I have met people where my first impression wasn’t amazing, and then I ended up getting to know the beautiful human beings they were. How many opportunities have you let slip by in this way?
If your inner matchmaker just striking everyone off the list, she needs to refine and see the soul level of each person. It certainly does not mean that you would be match made with everybody, but it would mean that you were generally more open.
No, I’m not a matchmaker. I’m not sure what it is that I am saying or not saying in my content – in my socials, or on my website, that’s giving the wrong impression - how ironic that I’m not always giving people the right impression even though I’m a love coach!
